I got a virus about 12 months ago from using them and haven't used them since as i clamp up at the thought of getting a virus  Anyway just seen a ministry of sound album i want but fuck paying a tenner for it. Are Torrents the way forward? Is there an easy alternative (for a technological retard)? Any torrent sites to avoid? I know i can count on my funlanders  |

i use this site www.utorrent.com/ as the client and most of the time i either use isohunt to find what i want or just use google .e.g. ,,,,, Spice girls wannabe torrent |

I still use torrents but mostly I use newsgroups like Warez (http://www.warez-bb.org/index.php), which provide virtually instant downloads via Rapidshare or similar sites. It helps having a paid membership of Rapidshare as you can download instantly instead of waiting several minutes when downloading several parts of a file but it's not essential; I've never paid for anything and I've downloaded massive files like Windows 7, Office, and endless films

I can send upto 5 people an invite to a private torrent site which is safe and very quick. It's called Leechers Lair,the only thing they ask is you give back 100% to share with others,or just leave the torrent seeding for at least 48 hours before deleting. That doesn't mean you have to have your PC on for 2 days solid, just maybe 4 hours 1 day, 3 hours next etc.
Anyone interested let me know here and I will send you an invite.
p.s - EFC has or still been a member on there from an invite off me, so don't worry if you think I am sending you to VIRUS CITY!

I use demonoid and Azureus as a torrent program. Never have any problems with them and get great speedcs.
