Seeing as though we have taken off a bit since the expendables got their act together, i've taken it upon myself to bit the music expert of the group. Two artists that are quite similar yet completely different at the same time are: - Liam Bailey - a soul type singer with just an acoustic guitar to blow your mind tracks to listen too; * It's not the same. * Summer Rain * Nobody stands to reason * and a cover of Everlong, which is possibly as good as the original - John Frusciante - lead guitarist of the chili peppers has been going solo for nearly 10 years now, but not many people have heard his stuff. Excellent to just chill out too and think, considering he was smacked up when he wrote most of the albums. If you like experimental music with synths and shit, but also just plain acoustic and vocals, this guy should be perfect tracks to listen too; * Anne * Prostitution song * My smile is a rifle (vocals are crazy) * Covers of how deep is your love (Bee Gees) and tiny dancer (elton john) are all worth a shout. Please keep this a loving thread

Mremann is a guitarist and singer, he will probably have these acts in his collection.
I myself prefer a bit of Russ Abbott......."oh what an atmosphere, I love a party....."

I have mostly been listening to www.youtube.com/watch?v=2G_omBhNRlIWhich apparently is some Northern Soul classic. Other than that my recommendations are Pavement " Wowee Zowee" and Sebadoh's " Harmacy"

Willie Tee, Jackie Wilson etc. are all on it, great album for a sunny stroll. The deadmau 5 is average imo, but not massively into that kind of music, just dabble really. Dangerdoom/danger mouse are ace though, check them out for a bit of gangsta/dubstep sorta shit. Haven't heard of any russ Abbot but i will deffo youtube later when i get chance
