Diniyar Bilyaletdinov is rewarded with only his second start since November after starring from the bench in the 2-2 draw with West Ham United last week.
Bilyaletdinov scored against the Hammers and comes into the side ahead of Leon Osman on the left side of midfield.
Jack Rodwell makes his first start of 2011 in place of Victor Anichebe, who is ruled out with a groin injury.
Louis Saha, who scored a brace in the 2-1 win over Chelsea at Goodison Park last season, replaces Jermaine Beckford up-front.
Chelsea recall Frank Lampard to their midfield after the England midfielder was rested in Monday's 4-0 thumping of Bolton at the Reebok Stadium. Lampard replaces John Obi Mikel in the Blues side.
Didier Drogba, Florent Malouda, Ramires and Nicolas Anelka, who all scored against Bolton, are included in Carlo Ancelotti's side as he searches for his first ever win over Everton as manager. I am going to say Chelsea to win 2-1. PREDICTIONS.........
