Being a betting shop regular, I used to see this advertised and passed it off as another virtual horse racing style way to sting you for your money. After a mate in work kept on going on how good it was and it was run like the lottery I decided to have a blast. a 50p Lucky 15 (£7.50) for 4 numbers of your choice pays: 1 number out - £3 2 numbers out - £30 3 numbers out - £300 4 numbers out - £5000 (these depend on what bookies you go to by the way) PLayed it last 2 days and won £3 both days, making me only £4 down on what I have won on the National Lottery since the Edmonds era. Do you have to do a lucky 15?
I don't understand how it works?
As 7.50 seems a bit excessive considering you only get £3.

What?
A Lucky 15 bet on the 49's is like when you do 4 horses.
So I have 50p on 1 number to come out, 50p on 2 numbers to come (a double) etc.....
you can pick 4 numbers and put what you want on it. So if you put a Lucky 15 10p stake (£1.50) you wouldn't win what I put up there.

So you could go on and have a £1 on one number if you wanted?

Of course you can, but you would be better putting a 10p Lucky 15 for £1.50 on 4 numbers so you could win over a grand for your 4 selections coming out.
