3 assists from left wing, only 15 less than Nani... They should rename in Mr Tax Cheats player of the year. he is possibly the most over rated player i have ever seen, and that's saying a lot. He is just a kick and rush, a slow Seamus Coleman all be it. He's had two good games this season. And of course, Ashley Cole (0 goals, 4 assists) has had a much better season at left back than Leighton Baines (4 goals, 11 assists, every minute played). "Concentrating just on this season again, Baines’ 11 assists gives him the fifth best tally across all of Europe’s top divisions. Nani (18), Lionel Messi (17), Dani Alves (14) and Cagliari’s Andrea Cossu (12) are the only players to have created more." Football is shit /Smelt

He came to Everton average but with a hell of a lot of potential. He's now the best fullback in the country, and that's not bias at all, with a decent left winger in front of him he could be one of the very best in the world imo. Unfortunately Bilbo Kenwright has 4 quid spare and we will never get that world class winger...

I am saving this Baines thread so when he crosses Stanley Park, I can compare CopperCabs views now & then hopefully this will never, ever, ever happen. ION: Not renewing season ticket next year as i've given up on football. I have learned to hate the beautiful game and i blame it entirely on Sky. I will gladly celebrate the day Murdoch dies

You know what CC, I was a regular years ago - season ticket, away games, europe, the lot. Back then, if you weren't on Sky then it was hard to find an alehouse to watch Liverpool. These days you don't have to miss a kick, whatever team you support, as there will be a decent stream somewhere showing your match.
Everton stream 1 window : Funland in another window - SORTED!

I hate watching football on telly though, mainly coz you can't see runs off ball and you don't get atmosphere. Plus in Bpool everyone's a Man U fan so you can't watch a game without being called a scouse robbing bastard. You're right to question my judging of full backs with goals/assists, but everyone always goes on and on and ON about cole's ability to go forward etc, when Baines is clearly better!

Fumming about this, just another example of the blinkered Sky 4/5 media; Cole over Baines for the team of the year is a worst decision than when Alex Ferguson signed Massimo Taibi and Bale player of the year? What the fuck has he done since those 2 games against Inter? Player of the year is supposed to be based on DOMESTIC competition
